Recipe : Easy Taco Bake


      A long time back I discovered this extremely straightforward Taco Bake recipe from allrecipes.com with not very many ingredient. It's so quick and simple to do. In around 15 minutes you can have this casseroule prepared to put in the stove. It’s quite adaptable too if you want to add a few other ingredients, such as green onions, corn, black or pinto beans, jalapeno pepper slices or olives.This one dish can be enjoyed for family gathering, party with friends, or just make your children happy. Now lets make your own bake Taco!



Prep Time : 10 minutes
Cook Time : 40 minutes
Ingredient :
  1. 1/2 lbs. 93% to 96% lean ground meat 
  2. 14.5 oz. can diced tomatoes with green chilies 
  3. 1/2 cup water 
  4. 1 cup sour cream 
  5. 1 pkg. taco flavoring or Homemade Taco Seasoning 
  6. 8 to 12 oz. pkg. Colby-Monterey Jack cheddar shredded (use more if you cheese lovers) 
  7. Corn tortilla chips 
How To Make : 
  1. Preheat stove to 350°. 
  2. In a medium skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef and drain fat. 
  3. Add the diced tomatoes with green chilies, water, sour cream and taco flavoring mix. 
  4. Let simmer for 5-10 minutes. 
  5. In the bottom of a lubed 9x13" baking dish, put a layer of tortilla chips. 
  6. Cover with a layer of meat mixture then a layer of cheddar. 
  7. Repeat this procedure until the the last layer is cheese. 
  8. Bake for 20 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly. 
NOTE: 
  1. Taco is may made with any flavouring and ingredient inside it, but make sure your first layer applied is cheese.
  2. Do not overcooked, it will be dry out.
  3. A little measure of diced, seeded jalapeno peppers can be added to the meat mixture in the event that you need more warmth. 
  4. Extra cheddar keeps the casserole from getting too dry.
