Recipe : Easy Cherry Pie Bars




     Cherry cherry blossom in the garden~ Hahaha Who loves cherry? Today recipe were going to make........ Very simple and easy Cherry Pie Bars. Ah this delightful dish has a great combination taste, the sweetness the softy that melt at your mouth. So , what are we waiting for? Lets make your own cherry pie bars now!



Prep Time : 20 minutes
Cook Time : 85 minutes
Yields : 24
Ingredient :
CRUST: 
  1. 3 cup UNBLEACHED all-purpose flour 
  2. 1 1/2 cup granulated sugar 
  3. 1/4 tsp. sea salt 
  4. 3 sticks unsalted butter chilled (1 1/2 cup) 
CHERRY PIE FILLING: 
  1. 3 cup pitted, halved cherries
  2. 1 1/2 cup granulated sugar 
  3. 4 eggs 
  4. 1 cup sour cream 
  5. dash sea salt 
  6. 1 tsp. almond extract 
  7. 3/4 cup UNBLEACHED all-purpose flour  
How To Make:
CRUST: 
  1. Mix sugar, salt and flour together in a large mixing bowl. 
  2. Cut in butter with a pastry blender until coarse crumbs form. 
  3. Measure out 1 ½ cup of ingredient for topping and put aside. 
  4. Press remaining ingredients into the bottom of a greased 9x13" glass baking dish. 
  5. Bake at 350° for 12-15 minutes or until lightly browned. 
CHERRY PIE FILLING: 
  1. Whisk eggs in an large mixing bowl. 
  2. Add sugar, sour cream, salt, almond extract and flour to combine. 
  3. Gently fold in cherries until combined.
  4. Pour cherry mixture over hot crust. 
  5. Sprinkle with remaining 1 ½ cups crumb mixture. 
  6. Bake an additional 55-65 minutes or until set. 
  7. Cool no less than one hour before cutting into bars. 
NOTE: 
  1. After washing, pitting and halving the cherries, pat dry extremely well with a paper towel before using in recipe. 
  2. Stir the cherries gently into the filling mixture to avoid discoloration of the filling.
